As you added files to the list, choose the format into which the files will be converted.

The Convert Video/DVD module has the Easy mode and the Advanced mode to set an output format.
The Advanced mode lets you set an output format and a preset for the format. You can use a preset from the list of ready-made presets, or change an existing preset, or create and save your own presets.
Click the Advanced tab to switch to the Advanced mode for output formats.

To set an output format in the Advanced mode:

1. Choose a format from the upper drop-down menu.

2. Choose one of the ready-made presets from the lower drop-down menu.

Presets can be modified or created, saved and added to the lists of existing presets.
Click the Advanced button to open the Format Settings dialog window and work with presets.

To add a preset:
1. Choose a format settings you want to use as a preset.
2. Enter a name for the preset in the Preset pane.
3. Click Add.
4. Click OK.

After you added a preset, you can select it from the lower drop-down menu in the main window.

To modify a preset:
1. Select a preset you want to modify.
2. Choose new settings for the preset.
3. Click Change.

To delete a preset:
1. Select a preset you want to delete.
2. Click Delete.
