The Brightness/Contrast filter provides advanced options for adjusting brightness and contrast. The filter allows manual enhancement for highlights and shadows, making them darker or lighter. Use this filter to repair very dark videos.

To apply the filter:
Select the Filters tab:
Double click the icon of the filter:
OR
Retaining the icon of the filter, drag and drop it into the Preview area.
To adjust the filter settings:
Select the filter's name in the Applied filters pane.
In the filter settings pane, drag the Brightness and Contrast sliders. Higher values provide higher brightness and contrast levels. Brightness and Contrast values are applied to the movie independently. To return to the default values, click Defaults.
