The Posterize effect lets you adjust the level of brightness of video. It creates an interesting special effect of large flat areas.

To apply the effect:
Select the Effects tab:
Double click the icon of the effect:
OR
Retaining the icon of the effect, drag and drop it into the Preview area.
To adjust the effect settings:
Select the effect's name in the Applied filters box.
In the filter settings pane, drag the slider to set the level of brightness. The lower is the value, the lower brightness level your video will have.
To return to the default values, click Defaults.
