To capture video:
1. Connect your mini-DV camera to your computer using a FireWire cable.
2. Turn on your mini-DV camera.
3. Launch the Capture Video module.
4. Define the Captured video settings (Read more).
5. Preview the video stored on your mini-DV camera to choose a video fragment to be captured (Read more).
6. Having chosen a video fragment, click Start Capture.
7. Click Stop Capture to stop the capturing process.

The captured video will be saved in the defined folder in the DV-AVI format.

NOTE: If you capture several video fragments while previewing your DV cassette, you create and save several detached DV-AVI files.
