In some cases there may be a necessity to crop you video to get rid of some unwanted elements (for example, black side bars). In such case the Crop effect can be very useful.
To apply this effect to your video, click below the Preview area or select Edit > Crop. As a result, the Crop area will appear on your video. You can resize the Crop area or change its location by dragging it to a necessary place on the video.

As a result, your video will be converted within the frames restricted by the Crop area.

NOTE: As soon as you apply the Crop effect to the video, the Eye icon () will appear next to it in the Source File area: the opened eye means the effect is enabled, the closed eye means the effect is disabled. To enable or disable the effect, simply click the Eye or right-click it and select a corresponding command from the context menu. You can also get back to the original of your video by selecting the Return to original command from the context menu or Edit > Return to original.
