The Time scale allows you to "zoom in" or "zoom out" your video in the Timeline panel — define the duration of video episodes into which the video to be edited should be split. The shorter the duration is, the more episodes will be displayed in the Timeline panel, and, therefore, the more granular and precise video editing will be.

The Movie Editor module allows you to set the duration of video episodes from 10 seconds to the maximum length of your video.
