Movavi VideoSuite :: Download Online Video :: Quick start

The Quick Start section describes simple steps you should take to from popular video-sharing websites like youtube.com, video.google.com, myspace.com, dailymotion.com, and many more or convert flash video stored locally and save it in one of the most popular video formats or for any mobile device: iPod, iPhone, Zune, Sony PSP, Blackberry and more.
To download video and save it on your computer, do the following:

Step 1. Specify URL or add a video file.

To add your flash video stored locally, click or select Add Video... from the File menu and click a necessary file in the tree. Click Open. As a result, the video will be added to the List of opened files.



To add the URL of an online flash video, click or select Add URL... from the File menu and enter the URL of your flash video. As a result, the video will be added to the List of opened files.



Step 2. Select the video you want to download.

In the List of opened files select the video you want to download. Note that you can download several online videos at once: to do so, select check boxes next to necessary videos. You may also use the Shift and Ctrl keys for multiple selection.



Step 3. Select output format.

From the Output format list select the format of an output video file.



Step 4. Specify presets.

From the Presets list located next to the Output format field select a necessary level of quality or specific video parameters for the output video file.

Step 5. Select output directory.

Click to select a directory into which an output video file should be saved.

Step 6. Download online video.

Click or select Convert... from the File menu.

Online video will be downloaded and saved in the selected video format into the specified directory.

NOTE: The Download Online Video from YouTube module is an online converting tool: make sure you do not lose Internet connection when downloading video. Otherwise the procedure will be aborted.
