The Convert Video & Audio module has an option of previewing files that were added to the Source file list.
To play a file, select it in the Source file list and use one of the following options:

To jump to the next frame of the movie, use one of the following options:

You can capture frames from your video. Choose the frame you need, click the Stop button and choose:

You can preview your movie in the Full Screen mode.
