Movavi VideoSuite :: Convert Video & Audio :: Working :: Choosing file quality and size

The Target Quality option enables a convenient way to set a necessary level of quality for the output video or audio file and define the size of the converted file. The level of presupposed quality for every added file is specified in the Target Quality column of the Source file list. You can increase the quality level to get better quality or decrease it to reduce the size of the output file.

To change the quality level:

  1. Select a file in the Source file list.
  2. In the Convert to field, specify a necessary format for an output file.
  3. Click the Target Quality link next to the selected file.
  4. In the displayed window, drag the slider to increase or decrease the quality level for the file. The Convert Video & Audio module will automatically calculate the size of the output file and display the file size information in the Approximate file size field.

NOTE:
The quality level is in direct proportion with the size of the output file - the higher the quality level is, the larger the size of a ready file is.
