WAV format

WAV is a format for storing sound in files developed jointly by Microsoft and IBM. WAV sound files end with .wav extension and can be played by nearly all Windows applications that support sound. With Movavi Video Converter you can extract audio from your video and save it as WAV.

Settings

• Choose Frequency: 44 100 Hz is CD quality. The higher is the frequency, the better is output sound.
• Select Channels: Mono or Stereo.
• Select Bits per sample settings: 16 bit means better sound quality but produces larger files.
• Check Same as input to use frequency and channels parameters of the original file.
