Movavi Video Converter :: Working :: Specifying Application Preferences

The Preferences window allows you to specify general settings for the Movavi Video Converter application. To activate this window, select Tools > Preferences... from the main menu.

You can define the following application settings:

  1. In the Interface Language section, select the language in which the Movavi Video Converter interface should be introduced. Movavi Video Converter supports the following languages: English, German, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian and Japanese. Please note that you should restart the application for changes to take effect.
  1. In the General Settings section, define the following settings:
    • Play Sound - enable or disable sound playback
    • Enable Multi-Core Support - select to support multi-core processors if necessary
  1. In the MPEG Decoder Settings section, define the following settings:
    • Select an audio track to be reproduced and define the AC3 volume
    • Select to deinterlace your video if necessary
    • Select to skip VIDEO_TS.VOB and VTS_XX_0.VOB files at conversion
  1. In the Adjustment Settings section, select the direction for video rotation - clockwise or counterclockwise.
