Scheduling
You can use Movavi Screen Capture to record your screen at any time.
To set a time limit
If you want the recording to end automatically after a certain period of time:
1. Click the clock icon to open the capture time options.
2. Select the 'Stop capture after' option.
3. Enter the time after which the recording should end (hours:minutes:seconds).
To schedule a recording
You can record anything on your screen without even being at your computer, as long as you know when to start and end the recording.
1. Click the clock icon to open the capture time options.
2. Select the 'Schedule recording' option.
3. Next to Start time, enter the date and time when the recording should start.
4. Next to 'Stop capture after', enter the time after which the recording will automatically end (hours:minutes:seconds).
.When the time comes, the recording will begin automatically. Before that, don't forget to set up the capture area and sound. You do not need to press the 'REC' button for the recording to begin, however, please note that Movavi Screen Capture will need to be running at the specified time. To ensure that, you can enable autostart in the Preferences.
Please note that if you haven't yet activated the program, the maximum capture time is two minutes for each video. To learn more about activating Movavi Screen Capture, see the Activating Software section.
If you are starting a lengthy recording, make sure that you have enough free disk space for saving the temporary recording files.
