Adding a watermark
Adding a watermark to your video will protect your ownership even if it's shared all over the Internet. You can add an image overlay with your own watermark or logo or create a new one using text.
Image watermark
1. Click the More tools icon on the left-hand sidebar and select Logo under Video.
2. Click Add Logo to add the image you want to use as a watermark.
3. Clip with your logo will appear on the extra video track.
4. Click on the clip with your logo to activate it. Adjust its position and size within the player or choose a preset using the Position tool.
5. To change the opacity or duration of the watermark, click the Clip properties button.
6. To adjust the opacity, move the Opacity slider. To make the watermark appear through the entire length of the video, enter your project's length in the Duration field or drag the right edge of the overlay clip until the end of the video track.
Motion tracking
To link the logo to an object in the video:
1. On the main track, separate the video fragment with the object you want to track from the rest of the video clip.
2. Move and resize your logo in the player or select the preset in the Position tool.
3. Click the Clip properties button and go to the Motion tracking tab.
4. Place the frame around the object.
5. Select the tracking method. Quick is suitable for static objects, Precise is suitable for moving objects. Artificial intelligence will automatically select the optimal tracking settings for any objects.
6. Click Track.
To reset the tracking, click Reset.
Text watermark
1. Click the Titles icon on the left-hand sidebar and pick a nice title style for your watermark.
2. Drag the titles you like to the beginning of the titles track at the top of the Timeline.
3. Double-click the title and enter your watermark text. Pick a cool font and color on the panel above the player. Click Apply when you're done.
4. To make the watermark appear through the entire length of the video, drag the right edge of the text clip until the end of the video track.
If your video is long, zoom out on the Timeline to make changing the clip length easier.
OR: Double-click the text clip to enter text editing mode and enter the length in the Duration field. You can see the length of the entire project at the bottom of the window.
