Fading audio
You can add smooth fades to the beginning or the end of a clip and create a crossfade effect between audio tracks.
Fade in: How long (in seconds) it will take the beginning of the clip to go from silent to full volume.
Fade out: How long (in seconds) it will take the end of the clip to go from full volume to silent.
Set up the fading effect
1. Select the clip on the Timeline.
2. Click the Clip Properties button on the toolbar.
3. Set the fade length using the sliders on the Clip Properties panel.
