AAC format
Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) is a standardized, lossy compression
and encoding scheme for digital audio. Designed to be the successor
of the MP3 format, AAC generally achieves better sound quality than
MP3 at many bit rates.
Settings
- Specify the Sample rate of the audio
stream.
- Select Channels: Mono or
Stereo.
- Select Bitrate settings: 16 bit means better
sound quality but produces larger files.
- Select the Profile: Main, LC
or LTP.
- Specify the MPEG version: MPEG-2 or
MPEG-4.
